Sophie has been a professional photographer since 2016 and took the step to financially support herself through her creative work, including photography, in May of 2023. She photographs everything from weddings to products and solar eclipses to science experiments. In 2023, Sophie was brought on to NASA’s P.U.N.C.H mission as a Featured Eclipse Photographer. Sophie has gained public recognition for her photography works through features, publications, grants, and talks provided by supporters such as NASA, Sky and Telescope, Fiske Planetarium, and December Thieves.
